Alert Management

Alert Policy List

The Alert Management page displays all created alert policy information.

In the search box at the top, you can enter different tags and tag values to quickly filter target data, such as alert policy name, alert type, creator, etc.

The quick filter box on the left allows you to quickly filter target alert policies through multiple filter options. The default filter options on the Alert Management page are status and type.

The data list on the right shows the status, name, type, total alert count, creator, and creation time of each alert policy. Members with permissions can perform edit, enable/disable, copy, and delete operations on alert policies.

Additionally, you can click the "Create Alert" button in the top right corner to create your alert policy.

Create Alert

After clicking "Create Alert", you need to select an alert type. Currently supported types include metric alerts, trace alerts, and log alerts, among which metric alerts support threshold detection as a detection method.

On the create alert page, you can create a new alert policy following the prompts. Metric alerts have four steps: selecting detection method, defining metrics, setting alert conditions, and setting alert content and notifications; trace alerts and log alerts have three steps: defining metrics, setting alert conditions, and setting alert content and notifications.

Based on the defined metrics and alert conditions, the chart above shows the data trend over a period of time for preview. The time range that can be previewed in the chart varies according to the selected detection frequency: for minute-level detection frequency, it defaults to showing the last 6 hours of data; for hour-level detection frequency, it defaults to showing the last 24 hours of data.
